Software Enginering At Its Finest in Australia

Technology is always changing, and that’s a good thing.  It is the way the world moves forward, the way we stay current and yet still focused on the future.  And in Australia there are a lot of software companies that are not only making waves on the home front; these companies are developing the latest and greatest software technologies that are making the world take notice as well.

Because software technology companies don’t always get shown the love they deserve, over the next few posts we’ll take the time to spotlight a few.  The first one is listed below:

ESRI Australia  (www.esriaustralia.com.au) – this is a company that specialises in providing location intelligence services which “will contribute to the success of a client’s organisation.”  An example of their software technology can be found in trying out the wide range of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology.  For more than 30 years this company has been working within many different industries to bring the GIS technology to them.  The company’s claim to fame is in making software which helps a company analyze its data in a way that regular databases and spreadsheets are unable to do.

While there are tons of companies around developing software, not all of them are able to create software technology that is fresh and new.  My hope is to show that this is definitely not a problem in Australia.
